The South County Garden Club is hosting the Wilson Dunbar Lecture at the Dune Club in Narragansett RI on Wednesday August 21, entitled EATING WITH THE ECOSYSTEM, and featuring Kate Masury.
Kate will be talking about our local seafood and fisheries and the importance of eating a diversity of local species. The Dunes Club Chef Maria will be preparing appetizers from Eating with the Ecosystem’s cookbook entitled SIMMERING THE SEA : DIVERSIFYING COOKERY TO SUSTAIN OUR FISHERIES. Copies of the book will be on sale and autographed following the lecture and reception with cash bar.
