Tickets are now on sale for our Fall School of Fish cooking workshops which are held at Hope & Main in Warren RI. During these workshops you will learn from expert chefs multiple ways to prepare a delicious dinner starting with a whole local fish and then sit down to enjoy the incredible dinner you learned to prepare!

Our September class will be held Monday, September 18 and will feature Chef Rich Silvia from The White Horse Tavern with FLUKE!

We will be announcing the fish for the other classes closer to the dates.

Monday, October 16: Chef Andy Teixeira from Newport Vineyards

Monday, November 20: Chef Dave Snow and Peter Sebring from Bristol Oyster Bar

Monday, December 18: Chef Peter Gobin from Mijos Tacos


Tickets are $50 and includes the lesson, dinner, and wine

Thursday, September 21st: Gills and Grapes


Holy Mackerel! Eating with the Ecosystem is joining forces with Newport Vineyards to uncover the wonders below our local seas. An evening of education and eating local with a 5-course seafood dinner paired with Newport Vineyards wines. Lead by Eating with the Ecosystem's Kate Masury, Executive Chef Andy Teixeira, along with Newport lobsterman Al Eagles. Discover the bounty of our local ecosystems and dine for a cause; a portion of the proceeds will go towards the Scales & Tales Mobile Food Boat program.

About the Mobile Food Boat Program: The Scales & Tales Mobile Food Boat is a skiff (a shallow, flat-bottomed open boat) that the team is converting into a mobile education platform, complete with a cooking demo station. Eating with the Ecosystem plans to run free, educational events at farmer’s markets and other public locations showcasing the Food Boat. The goal of these programs is to educate consumers about our local seafood, fisheries, and ecosystems.

Saturday, September 23rd: New Bedford Working Waterfront Festival

Eating with the Ecosystem will have a table at the New Bedford Working Waterfront Festival! Drop by the table for fun information about our local seafood, Eating with the Ecosystem, and to be the first to hear about the events we have planned in Massachusetts!
